A few weeks ago, Baby Kashton’s Mom and Dad, Mark and Tiffany, were happily waiting to welcome him into the world. After Tiffany went into labor, things didn’t proceed as expected. Shortly after baby Kashton was born, the doctors discovered that he had a birth defect called congenital diaphragmatic hernia. This defect caused his small and large intestines to develop in his chest and only allow one side of his lungs to develop. Kashton was transported from Butte, Montana, right here to Seattle Children’s Hospital where he underwent surgery to put things back in order. With the help of his doctors, and the healing power of God’s hand, Kashton is now thriving.
I had the immense pleasure of visiting Kashton and his family at Children’s last week. At only 2 1/2 weeks, I was happy to see him chubby and full of life. Here, in these photos, you can see that he is enjoying the loving touch of those who care for him so greatly.

These are the most, most, wonderful pictures ever. Who ever took them did a terrific job! Thanks for sharing!! Kashton, granny and papa Spurlock love you and get well soon.
Thank you Marci! The congregation here in Paso Robles, CA has been praying for Kashton. Now they have faces to associate with all those names. You are a blessing to so many. Thank you for preserving this special time for Kashton’s family!
