Meet Olivia, sneak peek!

What a cute and sweet baby!  Congratulations to Kim and Tony who welcomed their new baby into the world this last week.  There are more to come, but here is a sneak peek….

Nella & Gramps

I took this image over the weekend while our family was celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday in Discovery bay.  I love the contrast between Penelope and her Gramps.

 

Like Father like….grandson

It was only a few weeks after taking the Johnson Family photos that I was taking their grandparents photos.  While I was working on the post processing, I realized that the picture looked so familiar.  The top image is Rowan and the bottom image is his grandpa Val. Too cute!

Baby Kashton

A few weeks ago, Baby Kashton’s Mom and Dad, Mark and Tiffany, were happily waiting to welcome him into the world. After Tiffany went into labor, things didn’t proceed as expected. Shortly after baby Kashton was born, the doctors discovered that he had a birth defect called congenital diaphragmatic hernia. This defect caused his small and large intestines to develop in his chest and only allow one side of his lungs to develop. Kashton was transported from Butte, Montana, right here to Seattle Children’s Hospital where he underwent surgery to put things back in order. With the help of his doctors, and the healing power of God’s hand, Kashton is now thriving.

I had the immense pleasure of visiting Kashton and his family at Children’s last week. At only 2 1/2 weeks, I was happy to see him chubby and full of life. Here, in these photos, you can see that he is enjoying the loving touch of those who care for him so greatly.

Val & Linda, Sneak Peak

Meet Val and Linda, the sweetest couple EVER!  They are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and I had the pleasure of getting to know them while I snapped a few shots this weekend.  They were so cute and fun.  I loved hearing the story of how Val proposed.  He told her he thought they shouldn’t go steady anymore…but be engaged instead.
